Food From The Bar is an annual fundraiser benefitting the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Join the San Francisco-Marin legal community in this friendly competition by raising funds, collecting food, and donating volunteer time to help eliminate hunger in our community. Over the past 27 years, Food From The Bar has provided enough food for more than 19 million meals!
Together, we can end hunger.
The mission of the Food Bank is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin, where one in four residents struggles to make ends meet. Our network of partners, including 263 weekly farmers’ market-style pantries, provides critical support to more than 144,000 people each week.
Food is more than the difference between an empty plate and a full stomach. Providing food is about alleviating stress, promoting long-lasting health benefits, and creating opportunities for people to focus on goals and dreams. Food makes it possible for kids to learn more in school, for adults to perform better at work, and for seniors to stay healthy and active.
