Food, however humble, has the power to transform lives.
From homeless to hopeful, this is Mike's story. After returning from battle in Vietnam, he found adjusting to civilan life challenging and eventually became homeless. An encounter with a police officer led to housing and a volunteer gig at the Food Bank's pantry on Treasure Island. Before long, Mike was coming out of his shell and he eventually landed a job.
