You can donate online by going to our donation form and paying by either credit card or PayPal. Please note that PayPal is only an option for one-time gifts.
You should receive an email confirmation for online donations within 24 hours. If you can’t find it in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.
If you are still having trouble locating your receipt, please contact donationssf@sfmfoodbank.org.

We are experiencing up to a 10 day delay in processing gifts and sending out acknowledgment letters as we adhere to strict COVID-19 safety guidelines. We greatly appreciate your patience. If your bank account does not reflect your gift after two weeks, please contact us at donationssf@sfmfoodbank.org.
Yes! If donating by mail, please send the tribute information in the envelope along with your gifts. Include the name of the person the gift is made in honor/memory of, the name to notify, optional gift message and the mailing address where we should send the card. Please allow 2-4 weeks for our team to process your request.
Tribute gifts can also be made online. Select “I would like to dedicate my donation” when processing through our donation form. You can choose to have either an eCard or mailed card sent to the person you select to notify.

If you would like to increase your gift to provide even more meals for our neighbors, use our online donation form. Please reach out to let us know to cancel your old gift or if you need to make any other changes to your gift at donationssf@sfmfoodbank.org or 415-282-1907 ext. 249.
Yes! With the expansion of our programs in response to rising food insecurity during the pandemic, our need for volunteers has also increased. Read more about volunteer opportunities here.
While we are in great need of volunteers, we are grateful for all kinds of support! Other ways you may consider helping the Food Bank are through organizing a virtual food drive/fundraiser or by giving a donation through our website. We are able to turn every $1 donated into 2 meals.
