CalFresh is a nutrition assistance program for low-income families and individuals. Formerly known as food stamps and known nationally as SNAP, CalFresh benefits are deposited monthly on an EBT card, which can be used as a debit card to purchase food at grocery stores, small retailers, and even farmers markets. Our CalFresh Outreach team can help you apply and strives to make the application process as easy as possible!
The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank has over 270 pantries in San Francisco and Marin. These farmers market style pantries distribute fresh, seasonal produce, a lean protein, grain, and other products every week. Click below for eligibility requirements and locations.
