Due to high demand, registration is required for some of our drive-thrus. Check our website for site-specific details.
What do I need to bring?
Please place your registration confirmation on your dashboard or have it ready on your cell phone. Wear a mask during the check-in process.
Will immigration status be checked at the Drive-thru?
No. All are welcome at our food distributions regardless of immigration status.
What kind of food will I get?
At the Drive-thru, every vehicle receives one distribution, one portion: two or more boxes of groceries that include fresh produce, protein, and diary.
How much food will I get?
On average, participants at our Drive-thrus will receive 40+ pounds of groceries.
Can I get extra food based on the number of people who live in my household?
Unfortunately, we are only able to provide one portion per car.
Can I have someone else pick up my food for me?
Yes, as long as they have registered and are only picking up for you. Each car can only pick up one portion.
How many food distributions can I attend each week?
We know that this is a difficult time for so many of our neighbors and we ask that you attend only one food distribution to ensure there is enough food for everyone else in need.
How long will the Drive-thrus be available?
We will continue to offer the Drive-thrus for as long as we can. We anticipate that the program will run through November.
What if this time or location doesn’t work for me anymore?
We plan to open 2 Drive-thrus’s in San Francisco and 2 in Marin. Additionally, we have a number of weekly Pop-up pantries that run in locations throughout each county. Please visit our website for information on other food distributions, https://www.sfmfoodbank.org/find-food/.
