Annual Fall Gala
Hosted by Tyler Florence, Chef and Food Network star
Chef Florence originally created this signature dinner in 2012 to commemorate the Food Bank’s 25th Anniversary and it has now become an annual fundraising Gala. Twenty top Bay Area chefs led by Tyler Florence will present an elegant and unique dining experience for guests in the Food Bank’s San Francisco warehouse.
In March 2013, we thanked our top donors for their generous support by inviting them to the Breadwinners Reception, our annual wine tasting and gourmet hors d'oeuvres reception held at our San Francisco warehouse. Guests had an opportunity to mingle, tour the warehouse, meet the Food Bank staff, and hear an update from Executive Director, Paul Ash.

San Francisco’s architects, engineers, builders and designers work together to end hunger in our community. Teams compete against each other to create giant sculptures using only cans of food, and their sculptures will be judged and winners selected. At the end of the exhibit the cans of food are donated to the Food Bank and distributed within the community.
