Ever wondered what it would be like to be an executive chef in one of the nation’s food capitals? Think you can stand the heat of the kitchen? Scala’s Bistro would like to formally invite you to step behind the scenes with their new series of cooking classes, In the Kitchen with Scala’s.
Guests will arrive and meet Executive Chefs Larry Finn and Kimberly Bugler, who will be giving the guests an exclusive look at a San Francisco icon. Part of the restaurant scene for almost 18 years, Scala’s Bistro is a high-volume restaurant with an artisanal spirit – everything from the bread to the pastas to every sauce on the menu are made in-house.
Fulfill your dream of being a star chef with the team at Scala’s Bistro. Guests will prepare their own lunch in a professional kitchen, and after the day’s work they will be able to sit down and enjoy the foods of their labor, along with expertly paired wines from the cellar.
For each ticket sold, $50 will be donated to the SF-Marin Food Bank.

Dinner Series at Stones Throw

Stones Throw has invited top chefs and restaurants in the Bay Area to cook and drink with them, just like they love to eat and drink when they’re out. And you can join them!
This social and community-focused dinner will take place every last Monday of the month, and for each event Chef Jason Halverson has invited a top local restaurant, chef and sommelier into his kitchen for an unforgettable evening - all in support of SF-Marin Food Bank.
Reservations for the dinners will be taken throughout the evening, between 6 pm – 8:45 pm, and will offer the “Eat Like a Chef, Drink Like a Somm” menu only from the guest chef and sommelier. The set menu that evening, created by these special guest chefs and somms, will include favorite dishes, and drinks, they enjoy when they have the night off!

Stones Throw welcomes AQ executive chef Mark Liebermann and sommelier Kristen Capella.
