The Food Bank is a lifeline for many. As the pandemic raged, food insecurity increased. Facing challenges, we have pushed our warehouse to its limit. Help us expand to serve over 200,000 people weekly. Join the Campaign for a Future Without Hunger
Together, we can end hunger in San Francisco and Marin
We all thought the COVID-19 crisis might be a sprint to normalcy, but the economic fallout – and its effect on the food security of our neighbors – could last for years.
The Food Bank continues to be here as a steadfast beacon of community, compassion, and care as we provide food for the hungry. Together, with supporters like you, we’ll continue to help neighbors in what promises to be a marathon.
Pre-COVID, we were already a lifeline for 140,000 people weekly. The pandemic forced thousands more to turn to us for help. We aren’t renovating to expand, but to sustain — to continue to meet the elevated levels of need and to be able to serve more than 200,000 people weekly.
