Read MoreWhat: Home Delivered Groceries is a San Francisco-Marin Food Bank program that brings fresh groceries to seniors and adults with disabilities each week.
Volunteers fill up their cars with ~15 bags of fresh groceries at one of our warehouses, delivering the bags to a set list of participants.
Please review these guidelines from the City and County of San Francisco before volunteering with us.
Who: Individuals or small groups of people who live in the same household
Where: Driving from the Food Bank warehouses to ~15 households, Marin and San Francisco routes available
When: Routes available Mon-Sat in SF, Fri only in Marin; routes take ~3 hours to complete
Requirements: Your own car, smartphone, submit to a background check, submit to driving record check
