What: With over 200 “shop accounts”, the Food Bank’s Shop Floor serves partners large and small as they search for variety in their food. The Shop Floor, which is designed to look like a supermarket, opens each weekday to serve these participants. We’re looking for volunteers to maintain, stock, and rotate the inventory and to provide customer service as required. You’ll get to know our shoppers and represent the Food Bank to a number of partners in our work!
Who: Individuals, 18+
Where: At the Food Bank (San Francisco warehouse)
When: one weekday per week, 3-hours per visit, we ask for a 6-month commitment (Tue-Thu from 8:00a-12:00p are most urgent times of need)
Requirements: grocery retail or general warehouse experience preferred, customer service experience preferred
