The Food Bank has a new look and identity
As of January 2014, the Food Bank has updated our name and logo to our new identity: SF-Marin Food Bank.
Three years ago, the San Francisco Food Bank and Marin Food Bank merged in an effort to better serve low-income households in both counties. Our main focus at that time was ensure that our programs continued without interruptions and that we were able to extend services to underserved communities.
At that time, we merged our names together on our logo and called ourselves the San Francisco and Marin Food Banks. However, over time we realized that there was a lack of clarity that we were operating as one organization.
Earlier this year, we reached out to Addis Creson and the creative team that has been working with us for 20+ years. They generously provided pro bono assistance as we envisioned a new name and refreshed logo that more clearly reflects us as an organization with one mission— to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin.
